'tato' family designed by enrico baleri and denis santachiara for baleri italia.

the tato series is a surprisingly comfortable group of polyurethane spheres, ovals and other shapes suitable for use as footrests or stools. available in polyamide stretch fabric ( noted as malaga wool in the fabric options menu ) or stretch wool fabric. the covers are easily removed for cleaning or replacement.

with a metal “skeleton” inside to
reinforce the structure. All pieces are
modelled by hand. No moulds are
used in the production, making
each piece unique.
The eight standard colors of the
Clay series, are black, white, brown,
red, yellow, blue, orange and green.

This is a small, wrap-around armchair, made of engineering polymer Hyrek .
The shape came from a traced outline of an armchair - in other words, the lines are picked up from the afterimage of a typical armchair which is exposed into your retina.
