The contours of George Nelson’s Coconut chair invite you to surround yourself in comfort. Originally introduced by Herman Miller in 1955, the Nelson coconut chair is a 20th century furniture icon. A chair designed to look like a section of coconut shell wasn’t a stretch for someone who said, “Total design is nothing more or less than a process of relating everything to everything.” The Coconut chair offers a simple, striking shape, and it's also a very comfortable place to unwind at home or in the private office or lounge.

Herman Miller founder D.J. DePree saw an article in a 1945 Life magazine featuring George Nelson's Storagewall unit, which was causing a sensation in the furniture industry. He was so impressed that he paid a visit to Nelson in New York and convinced him to be his director of design, which spurred Nelson to found his design firm, George Nelson & Associates. The warm personal and professional relationship between Nelson and DePree yielded a stunning range of products, from the playful Marshmallow Sofa to the first L-shaped desk, a precursor of today's workstation.

The coconut chair is completely true to George Nelson's original design, materials, and detailing. The chair features a one-piece foam rubber, leather upholstered cushion and molded plastic shell atop a three-leg chromed steel base. Available with black leather upholstery only.

Fjord is a collection of contract seating: the Relax armchair, small armchairs, stools and stones. The essential and light frames take shape thanks to the use of new materials and new production technologies, while the visible stitching emphasizes contemporaneity.

Born in Oviedo, Patricia Urquiola attended the Madrid Polytechnic and the Milan Polytechnic Universities where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni as her supervisor of whom she was assistant at the Milan Polytechnic from 1990 to 1992. She has worked with many great talents and a plethora of companies worldwide. This brilliant Spanish architect is a phenomenon not to be lost sight of.

The footstools/low tables are offered in three shapes and sizes. They are constructed using internal plastic frames and feature fabric or leather-covered sides and leather tops, with top stitch. Available in your choice of fabric and leather tops.

A classic and everlasting design by Arne Jacobsen. The 3300 series consists of the 1-seater easy chair as well as the 2-seater and 3-seater sofas. Each piece in this series is meticulously constructed using a wooden frame covered in cold-cured foam and upholstered in either fabric or leather, resting on a chromed steel base. An elegant series for waiting/lounge areas and private homes.

Arne Jacobsen was very productive both as an architect and as a designer. His cooperation with Fritz Hansen dates back to 1934. The Ant and Series 7 chairs, produced in 1952, propelled both Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen's names into furniture history. At the end of the 50's Arne Jacobsen designed the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, which introduced the Egg, the Swan, the Swan sofa and Series 3300 to the design world. Arne Jacobsen was and is an admired and outstanding designer. His furniture and other design work have become a national and international heritage.
