Rin, designed by Japanese designer Hiromichi Konno in 2008. The shell is made of polypropylene and the base is polished aluminium.
"We're introducing the RIN™ Collection in 2009. The main focus of this collection is the new RIN™ chair designed by Japanese designer, Hiromichi Konno; an elegant and futuristic design. The idea is to create a new type of chair that is in harmony with Japanese and Danish design traditions.
The chair is elegant with a very innovative and progressive design. It invites you to sit in it for hours taking the traditional chair design into a new direction. Hiromichi explains: "My first idea was to make a beautiful chair that stimulates and awakens emotions. Therefore, I have established something poetical, simple, strong, relaxed and innovative all at the same time. The goal from the beginning was to create the perfect chair."
The multifunctional chair can be paired with a wide range of tables depending on individual needs. The chair is available in black and white with or without upholstery. We think that the chair looks particularly great with the Circular tables from Arne Jacobsen, the Plano table from Pelikan Design and at last but not least with T-No.1 by Todd Bracher."
