The garden(egg)chair is a versatile piece of high-end furniture meant primarily for outdoor use, but by now also a true design classic dating from 1968. Its creator, Peter Ghyczy intended the chair for use in the garden as well as indoors, and because of this its particular features are well adjusted for a life outside.
