With the cup range I tried to make an armchair and a sofa - kind of light - resolving it into thin elements/pieces. For me it is important that the furniture may be positioned in the centre of the room - not only against the walls. That means that the pieces cannot have a ›backside‹ - the sofa has become a mixture between a sofa and bench and although thin - it's very comfortable.
